The Project

For the 2022 WNBA All-Star Weekend held in Chicago, Nike wanted to celebrate the legacy of the players competing by recreating iconic Nike posters featuring the best of the WNBA roster. Notable classic Nike Ads were reimagined — from replacing a visceral Charles Barkely with Jewell Lloyd, to re-writing the “Hey Chris Webber” anthem to honor Diana Taurasi. The artwork brought further attention to the greatness of the players and were displayed throughout the WNBA weekend.

What We Did

Working closely with the Nike Chicago team, SEE ME hired and oversaw graphic artists, retouchers and illustrators who reinterpreted the legendary throwback Nike Ads to celebrate the WNBA All-Star players. Working on a tight deadline, SEE ME produced an efficient work flow that allowed for ease of sign off and revisions. The posters  ultimately showcased the athletes for the stars that they are.
